*About cross-fire*

Founded in 1993 by Brendan Doorly and Kevin Maguire, Cross-Fire & Security built its business around fire detection and life safety in New York City. Its project experience includes Citi Field, St. Patrick's Cathedral and the Intrepid Museum.

Cross-Fire supports projects through design, engineering, installation, final inspection and FDNY coordination, followed by monitoring and maintenance. Its experience spans fire alarms, radio communications and emergency communication systems.

In May 2021, Cross-Fire became the founding company of the family of companies that was renamed Altus Fire & Life Safety in 2022. It continues to operate under its own name, bringing New York City expertise to the Altus family.
